The Marshyangdi River : Is a relative newcomer in this group. The Marshyangdi run is four days of uninterrupted white water. Flowing through the gorges of the Annapurnas, it runs sandwiched between 52 km of boiling foam and towering peaks. Marshyangdi means raging river in the local dialect, the rafting start from Besisahar (Ngadi). The ending point is Bimalnagar which lies on the Prithivi High Way.
The Karnali River : In the far west longest and largest river in Nepal. To arrive at its banks requires a two days trek from Surkhet in the Terai. The next 90 km are spent flying through spectacular landscapes and narrow gorges and down some of the most challenging rapids in the World. For the remaining 90 km, the scenery and wildlife are the main attraction, as is the abundance of fish. During most of this trip, the wilderness is uninterrupted by human habitations.
The Sun koshi River : During monsoon time will +6 grade, is Nepal's second offering for expedition rafting -with a put -in only three hours from Kathmandu, it is more easily accessible than the Karnali while nevertheless offering on incredible stretch of exhilarating white water. The run is 270 km and requires 8-10 days to complete with the road access only at the beginning and end. On the third day rapids reach the offer 4 classifications and the remainder of the trip is consistently intense _ the white water stays white until the very end.
The Trishuli River: Nepal is one of the best place in the world for rafting and kayaking. Surrounded by its mountain scenery and rivers shaped by them challenges for white-water paddles. A series of the world's most outstanding river journeys is found here, ranging from steep, adrift mountain streams to classic and big-volume wilderness expeditions. All these combination of spectacular rivers, culture, heritage and scenery makes Nepal an obvious river runner's destination.
The Arun River: Nepal has four major river systems with more than two hundred fifty sizeable tributaries. The major rivers are the Sapta Kosi in extremely eastern part of Nepal the Narayani in central the Karnali in west and Mahakali is far western part of Nepal. Arun is one of the mighty tributary of Sapta Kosi. Its source is on the Tibetan Plateau, to the north of Kathmandu and it then swings in an easterly arc for some 200 km draining the Northern slopes of Mt. Everest and Makalu before cutting south through the Himalaya and into Nepal. It cuts through the Himalaya in some deep and awesome gorges that have fascinated explorers, travelers, geographers and river runners, and then flows almost directly south to join the Sun kosi shortly before the Indian plain. Besides that Nepal has more then one hundred different dialects speaking ethnic groups and during the rafting meeting people is part of the Adventure too.
The Seti River: This is a really unique and pleasant picturesque river passing through two beautiful and contrasting scenic areas. Relatively small volume, blue and warm water, we strongly recommend this is a ‘warm up’ river for intermediate kayakers. Seti rises on the southeast slopes of the sacred Mountain Fishtail and then flows to south, as a fairly typical Nepalese mountain river. |
