Most of the summits lie in the heart in Sherpa World. We follow the classic Everest approach through the Solu Khumbu. Everest Trekking gives you the oppurtinity to explore some of higher mountain including the highest Mount Everest. This trek is ideal for those with less time who never the less want a view of Everest. It provides a good insight into Sherpa culture without the struggle of high altitude trekking.

We fly to Lukla (2827meters) with spectacular views of the mountains and ascend through the Dudh Koshi valley to the Sherpa settlement of Namche Bazaar (3440meters), an unofficial capital of the Sherpas. Walking through the lovely forest and traditional Sherpa villages to the world renowned and sacred monastery of Thyangboche (3867meteres) is rewarded with the views of Everest soaring behind Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama-Dablam, Kangtega and Tawache peaks. On our way to Lukla culturally rich Sherpa village of Khumjung exhibits the Sherpa life style and is the home of Yeti scalp.

Camp Overnight Details

Day: 01
Phakding at 2650m. In morning transfer to Tribhuvan Airport in Katmandu, fly to Lukla Airport from Katmandu by the morning flight, it is 36 minute flight from Katmandu to Lukla at 2810m. 2 to 3 hours walk easy going trail to Ghat & Phakding Lunch at Ghat. After lunch short walk to Phakding, arrive Phakding. Dinner & overnight.

Day: 02
Namche Bazaar at 3450m. After breakfast proceed to Namche Bazaar. The trail is easy going till the Benkar at 2700m, Jorsalle at 2850m. & Monjo. Jorsalle has trekking permit check post. After Monjo, walk through the river side, cross the bridge. Then begins the up hill walk throught the beautiful rhododendron forest to Namche Bazaar. It is 6 hours walk from Phakding to Namche Bazaar. Arrive Namche Bazaar,it is a main center for Everest area. There are shops, restaurants, bakery shops, hotels, a national park office, a bank, & police check post. Dinner & overnight.

Day: 03
Namche Bazaar Rest After break fast you can roaming around, walk up hill around Syangboche at 3720m.& back to hotel. It is for acclimatization. If no head ache & no any problem to you. Then next day is good for you to go further up for the best views of Everest Himalayas’ ranges. There is a weekly market every Saturday in Namche Bazaar, you can see the Tibetan shops there. Lunch, Dinner & overnight.

Day: 04
Namche Bazaar After breakfast proceed to Shyangboche, Everest View Hotel, & Khumjung to see the wild animals, birds, yaks grazing, prayer flags, prayer wheels, stupas, monasteries, best views of whole everest himalayas’s ranges & peaks, you are in the middle of the everest himalayas’ ranges when you are there looking the views. Lunch at Khumjung. After lunch walk back down to Namche Bazaar. Dinner & overnight.

Day: 05
Lukla at 2810m. After breakfast proceed to Lukla. It is all the way down to river, walking river bed, walk gradual up to Jorsalle Check Post after bridge, then down hill walk to Monjo & Benkar then to Phakding & Ghat. It is gradual ascending from Ghat to Lukla. It is 6 hours walk to Lukla from Namche Bazaar. Arrive to Lukla. Dinner & overnight.

Day: 06
Kathmandu In the morning fly back to Katmandu. transfer to hotel by our car.
